10.17pm: Fintan Gavin wins UKIPT Edinburgh and 61,500
Fintan Gavin has completed a great comeback to win the UKIPT Edinburgh title and 61,500.
Gavin had called a 160,000 raise from Andrew Hawksby in the big blind to see a [7c][9h][4c] flop, which Gavin check-raised all-in on. Hawksby made the call.
Gavin: [jd][9s]
Hawksby: [9c][6s]

10.05pm: Gavin turning the heat up
It's not all one way traffic but Fintan Gavin is hoovering up a lot of the small pots at the minute, albeit seemingly with genuine hands. For instance in a limped pot Gavin bet 90,000 on the [Kh][Qc][Jc] flop and showed a king when Andrew Hawksby folded.
Hawksby down to 2,000,000. -- NW
10pm: More for Gavin
In a limped pot, the players saw a flop of [7][6][4] Fintan Gavin bet 125,000, Andrew Hawksby made it 275,000 and Gavin then moved all-in.
After a couple of minutes table talk Hawksby folded saying he had a pair and a straight draw, Gavin showed pocket fours for bottom set. -- NW

9.35pm: Gavin doubles through Hawksby
For the first time since heads-up play began Fintan Gavin has the chip lead.
From the small blind Andrew Hawksby made it 120,000 to play, Fintan Gavin re-raised to 375,000, Hawksby four-bet to 720,000 and Gavin flat called. There was already 1,440,000 in the pot and Gavin had around 1,800,000 back.
The flop was [3d][8s][Js] and Gavin checked it to Hawksby who moved all-in, snap call from Gavin.
Hawksby: [10s][9c]
Gavin: [Ac][Ad]
"That's some flop for you," said Gavin. The turn was the [6d] and Gavin said: "give him a pair," and indeed the dealer did as the [10h] completed the board.
After that hand chips counts are 5,100,000 plays 2,640,000 in Gavin's favour. -- NW
9.25pm: Gavin gets some back
Andrew Hawksby made it 120,000 to play and Fintan Gavin made the call. On the flop of [2d][Qs][Ah] Gavin check-called a bet of 160,000 and said to Hawksby: "How big's your kicker?"
The turn was the [Qh] and both players checked. I couldn't hear or see what the river card was but Gavin bet 200,000 and Hawksby called, Gavin showed pocket kings and Hawksby mucked. -- NW
9.20pm: Hawksby stretches his lead
From the button Andrew Hawskby made it 120,000 to go and Fintan Gavin made the call from the big blind. The flop was [2d][4c][9s] and Gavin check-called a bet of 160,000.
The turn was the [Ad] and both players checked to see the [5d] complete the board, Gavin check-called a bet of 300,000 and showed [A][4] but Hawksby had [5h][3h] for the straight. "I didn't even see it," said Gavin.
After that hand Gavin is down to around 2,000,000, Hawksby to 5,500,000. -- NW
9.10pm: Limpers tax
Fintan Gavin in open limping most buttons and Andrew Hawksby has checked behind mostly but has also charged limpers tax on occasion. When he has bumped it up out of position, Gavin's been content to let his hand go. -- NW
9.05pm: Hawksby gets some back
Pre-flop Andrew Hawksby made it 120,000 to play and Fintan Gavin made the call.
The flop fell [3d][6s][7c] and Gavin led for 150,000, Hawksby made it 340,000, Gavin min-three-bet and Hawksby moved all-in. "I think you've got eight-nine," said Gavin. "Can you beat it," asked Hawksby. "I can, but we're still flipping," said Gavin, before folding pocket fives face-up, Hawksby showed just one card - a five as he took the pot. -- NW
9pm: Fintan Gavin doubles up
We suspected it wouldn't take long for these two to clash and on just the second hand of heads up play we were off to the races for the UKIPT title.
Gavin was all-in for 1,765,000 with pocket nines, Hawksby the caller with [Ad][Jc]. The flop of [4s][3c][3s] pretty good for Gavin, the [9s] turn even better and the [Kc] river irrelevant to the hand.
After that hand Gavin is up to 3,530,000 and Hawksby slips to 4,255,000. -- NW
8.55pm: Heads-ups begins
We think this could be a fast one. -- RD
8.45pm: Heads-up chip counts
There's a short break before heads-up play begins, approximate chip counts are: Fintan Gavin 1,755,000 and Andrew Hawksby 6,000,000. -- NW
8.35pm: Jamie Dale eliminated in third place (22,900)
From the button/under-the-gun Fintan Gavin made it 135,000 to play, Andrew Hawksby three-bet to 225,000 from the small blind, only for Jamie Dale to move all-in for 1,235,000 in total, Gavin got out the way but Hawksby made the call.
Dale: [4s][4d]
Hawksby: [Ah][Js]
The flop of [10c][Ad][10s] vaulted Hawksby into the lead and left young Dale drawing thin. The [Jc] turn bought no help and the [5d] river means we are now heads up in Edinburgh. -- NW
8.25pm: Just three remain
The carnage of the last level in which three players were eliminated means that just three remain. The chip counts are: Jamie Dale (1,300,000), Fintan Gavin (1,500,000) and Andrew Hawksby (4,900,000).
