Women are scattered throughout the tables on PokerStars, some undercover and undetectable by their screen names. They are in the cash games as well as in big tournament series like the annual World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP).
This year, however, the women who play WCOOP have the opportunity to cash in on special rewards. And they can do so even before the start of WCOOP with chances to participate in the Steps program to win their seats early.
Women who make final tables of the $.10 and $1.10 Women's Poker League daily tournaments will win WCOOP Step 1 satellite tickets. And those who make the final table of the weekly Women's Sunday will win WCOOP Step 2 satellite tickets. This remains in place throughout the month of August leading up to September's WCOOP. But that's not all! The highest ranking woman in the WCOOP series will win a $3,500 prize package to PS Women Live at the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure in January.

For now, let's look at the awesome numbers for today's Women's Sunday:
Total players: 257
Prize pool: $12,850.00
Paid finishers: 45
This week, among the many women who entered, there were three members of the PokerStars team in action, each carrying a $50 bounty for any player skilled enough to knock them out of the tournament.
Team PokerStars Pro Liv Boeree was the first to go, though it was into the second hour of play. She put her stack at risk with A-9 against the pocket deuces of MaretIH. Not only did that pair hold but it became a set when a deuce flopped, and Boeree was gone early. MaretIH was awarded the $50 bounty.
Not long after, Friend of PokerStars Charlotte "Sjlot" Van Brabander was eliminated when she pushed her very short stack all-in but was beat by the K-6 suited of Gringo1990. The latter picked up the $50 bounty.
And still standing was Team Online's Adrienne "talonchick" Rowsome, who held strong well into the third hour of play.
Rowsome stayed in the top ten as the field was reduced to four tables, then three, and then two. Also in the field were Veronica "Princesa" Dabul and familiar name Kogle380.
Play slowed greatly with only 11 players remaining, as the stakes were raised with Steps tickets awaiting only the top nine. Kravgi finally exited in 11th to instigate hand-for-hand play, and that led to Blacky283 going into battle with talonchick. The two saw a [9s][Jh][7h] flop, and Blacky283 pushed with [Ac][Kc]. But talonchick called with [Ks][Js] for top pair, and that held up to the [Qd] turn and [6c] river. Blacky283 departed in tenth place with $192.75.
Team Online's talonchick leads to start
The last table of the tournament was set in Level 18 with blinds at 2,000/4,000 and a 400 ante. The final nine were all guaranteed a Step 2 satellite ticket for WCOOP and started the table with these counts:

Seat 2: PoKerEnD8 (66,806 in chips)
Seat 3: Doomi4ka (57,686 in chips)
Seat 4: talonchick (224,794 in chips)

It only took two hands for short-stacked nurrrrrik to push, and she doubled through talonchick, though the latter remained atop the leaderboard. Doomi4ka then doubled through jdcdman to climb into second place.
After the 3.5-hour break, Princesa chose to move all-in from the small blind for more than 71.5K chips with [As][Qs]. But n@ch0-666 called from the big blind with a dominating [Ah][Kc]. The board of [Jc][Th][3d][7h][Jd] allowed the ace and king kickers to play, and Princesa was eliminated in ninth place with $224.87.
Not only did n@ch0-666 jump into first place with that hand, but she continued to play very aggressively and put distance between herself and talonchick.
But when PoKerEnD8 moved all-in, talonchick was the caller with [As][Kh]. PoKerEnD8 was on the line with [Ac][4h], and nothing about the [5c][Kc][Qc][7d][9s] board changed anything. PoKerEnD8 of Vietnam was out in eighth place with $308.40.
A bit pot then developed between the chip leaders. N@ch0-666 started with a raise, talonchick reraised, and another reraise led to talonchick pushing all-in for 210,643 chips. N@ch0-666 called with [Ac][Ad], which beat the [Qd][Qc] of talonchick. The board was not terribly exciting as it came [3d][9d][2s][Td][Ks], and the aces held to award n@ch0-666 the $50 bounty and send Team Online's Adrienne "talonchick" Rowsome out in seventh place with $436.90.
Massive chip lead for n@ch0-666
The battle of the chip leaders left n@ch0-666 with a substantial lead over the rest of the players.
Hannareyes was on a very short stack and moved with [2h][2d]. Jdcdman reraised from the small blind with [As][Jc], and Doomi4ka folded out of the big blind. The showdown began but quickly took a turn with the [4d][Ah][9d] flop, giving jdcdman the advantage. The [6s] turn and [4h] river ended the hand with the best two pair for jdcdman. Hannareyes left in sixth place with $565.40.
When Kogle380 moved all-in shortly after, jdcdman and Doomi4ka both called to see a [Kh][9s][Qd] flop. A bet and call led to the [Jh] turn, and they checked to the [9c] river. Check-check prompted [jdcdman to show [Ks][5c] for the winning two pair. Doomi4ka mucked, and Kogle380 did the same before departing in fifth place with $732.45.
The following double-up for Doomi4ka through jdcdman breathed some life into the former:
And jdcdman soon moved all-in with [7c][7s]. Doomi4ka was there with [Ac][Th], which improved on the river of the [Jd][2s][Qh][6h][Ts] board. Jdcdman was out in fourth place with $1,060.12.
Nurrrrrik was the next to be at risk. The move was made with [Js][Jd] from the big blind, and Doomi4ka was in battle with [Qd][Jh]. The flop of [Qc][3h][Kh] gave the queens to Doomi4ka, and the [3d] and [Kd] made that into two pair. Nurrrrrik exited in third place with $1,413.50.
Chip up or be doomed
The final two players started with the following chip counts:
Seat 3: Doomi4ka (238,252 in chips)
Seat 9: n@ch0_666 (532,748 in chips)
It only took a few hands for Doomi4ka to make her move, and it played out as follows:
Eight hands later, Doomi4ka put her opponent to the test again with the all-in button. N@ch0-666 called all-in with [Ad][Js], and Doomi4ka showed [Ah][5d]. The straight draw for Doomi4ka showed up on the [3s][2c][2d] flop, and though the [Qc] on the turn was harmless, the [4d] on the river made that straight. Second place in the tournament went to n@ch0-666 of Mexico, along with $1,863.25.
Doomi4ka of the Ukraine won this week's Women's Sunday, along with $2,486.59. Congratulations!
