11:20 p.m: Top two for Tsuchikawa
Patrick Kar Keng Lee opened to 200,000 from the button and Tetsuya Tsuchikawa defended his big blind before the [3s][4d][Jh] flop was checked through.
When the turn landed the [Qh], Tsuchikawa checked and Lee fired a delayed continuation-bet of 250,000 only to have Tsuchikawa check-raise to 650,000.
Lee went deep into the tank before asking, "Is my queen any good?"
Lee flashed his [Qc] and folded, and Tsuchikawa kindly flashed his [Qs][Jc] for two-pair to take the pot and move back to 2 million.
11:15 p.m: Lee surging ahead
Patrick Kar Keng Lee is continuing to surge ahead.
On the two most recent hands, Tetsuya Tsuchikawa opened the button to 200,000 only to have Lee three-bet to 600,000 to force Tsuchikawa to fold. The next hand Lee successfully opened his button to 200,000 to force Tsuchikawa to fold once again before the Japanese player gave Lee a walk on the third hand.
11:10 p.m: Lee chips up
After a few walks to kick off the heads-up battle, finally we saw a juicy pot develop when Patrick Kar Keng Lee opened the button to 200,000 and Tetsuya Tsuchikawa called as the dealer dropped a [7c][8d][10s] flop.
Tsuchikawa checked and Lee pushed out a continuation-bet of 250,000 which Tsuchikawa called as the [Kh] landed on the turn. Tsuchikawa checked, but after Lee fired his second barrel -- this one amounting to 600,000 -- Tsuchikawa kicked his cards to the muck.
Lee flashed his [7d][7s] for bottom set to capture the pot to move to 5,370,000 as Tsuchikawa slipped to 1,800,000 in chips.
11:05 p.m: Play resumes
Both players have returned to their seats with the heads-up battle commencing with 25 minutes remaining at this level.

Both Patrick Kar Keng Lee and Tetsuya Tsuchikawa are taking a short unscheduled break.

10:40 p.m: Xiaobo Zhou eliminated in 3rd place (HK$425,400)
Tetsuya Tsuchikawa shoved from the small blind and Xiaobo Zhou called off his 865,000-chip stack from the big.

The [Jc][2d][Jd] flop gave Zhou more outs to avoid with any diamond also seeing him relinquish the lead. Unfortunately for the Chinese player, the [7d] would pop up on the turn, and although he still had full house outs, the [10s] would complete the board to send him to the rail in 3rd place for a HK$425,400 collect as Tsuchikawa and Patrick Kar Keng Lee are left heads-up.
10:30 p.m: Zhou punts stack, Lee leading
Xiaobo Zhou opened the small blind for a min-raise to 160,000 and Patrick Kar Keng Lee made the call to see a [2c][Kd][10d] flop fall.
Zhou continued for 200,000 only to have Lee make it 500,000 to go. Zhou contemplated for a few moments before making the call and checking the [4s] on the turn. Lee continued his aggressive approach to the hand by declaring a bet of 800,000.
Spending nearly three minutes in the tank, Zhou announced all in and Lee quickly made the call for his 1,826,000-chip stack.

With Zhou only drawing to a gutshot straight draw, the [8h] on the river wouldn't be what he was after as he rocketed down to just 740,000 while sending Lee skyward with a 4,987,000-chip stack.
10:15 p.m: Zhou four-bet victory
With the action being fairly dull recently, we finally got to see a four-bet pot that went the way of Xiaobo Zhou.
Zhou bumped it up from the button to 160,000 only to have Patrick Kar Keng Lee three-bet the small blind to 400,000.
Zhou deliberated for a few moments before sliding in a four-bet amounting to 780,000 total. Lee ummed and ahhed before eventually kicking his cards to the muck to slip to 2,335,000 as Zhou moves to 3,150,000 in chips.
10:10 p.m: Level up, blinds 40,000-80,000, ante 5,000
10:00 p.m: Lee calls with nines
From the small blind, Xiaobo Zhou bumped it up to 130,000 and Patrick Kar Keng Lee made the call from the big to see a [4d][3c][6h] flop fall.
Zhou pushed out 150,000 and Lee called as both players checked the [Kd] on the turn. When the river landed the [5c], Zhou cut out a bet of 160,000 which Lee called.
Zhou tabled his [Ac][Qd] for ace-high, but it would be Lee's [9c][9d] that would see him collect the move and move to 2,440,000 in chips -- just 200,000 behind Zhou.
9:55 p.m: Tsuchikawa picks off Zhou bluff
Xiaobo Zhou opened his button to 130,000 and Tetsuya Tsuchikawa made the call from the big to see a [9s][Kh][3d] flop fall. Tsuchikawa check-called 145,000 as both players checked the [Qh] on the turn.
With Tsuchikawa checking for a third time when the [10s] was produced, Zhou would slide out a stack of newly implemented orange 25,000-denomination chips to amount to a 500,000-chip bet.
Tsuchikawa went deep into the tank before eventually announcing a call, and as Zhou just folded his hand, Tsuchikawa tabled his [Kc][4c] for top pair to collect the pot and move to just under 2 million in chips as Zhou slips to 3,160,000.
9:40 p.m: Lee show continues
It seems to be the Patrick Kar Keng Lee show at the moment as the youngster from Singapore has just collected a few decent pots to send his stack over the 1,780,000-chip mark.
Firstly facing a raise of 125,000 from Xiaobo Zhou, Lee three-bet the small blind to 280,000 as Zhou made the call. The [5h][8s][4h] flop was greeted with a 350,000-chip continuation-bet from Lee, which forced an insta-muck from Zhou.
Two hands later Lee would defend his big blind to Tetsuya Tsuchikawa's 150,000-chip raise. The [10h][Kd][2s] flop would be checked through before Lee fired out 200,000 on the turn to force Tsuchikawa's cards into the muck.
9:25 p.m: Another double for Lee
Patrick Kar Keng Lee shipped it all in from the button and Xiaobo Zhou made the call.

Zhou: [Kh][2d]
The board was spread [Js][10d][6c][Qc][Qs] to ensure Lee another double -- this time pushing his stack to 1,360,000 -- as Zhou slipped to 4,150,000 in chips.
9:20 p.m: Lee doubles
Xiaobo Zhou shipped the small blind and Patrick Kar Keng Lee made the call for his last 450,000.

The board ran out [8d][As][4d][Kh][Qh] to see Lee double through to roughly a million as Zhou slipped back slightly.
9:15 p.m: Jun Wah Yap eliminated in 3rd place (HK$329,800)
From the button, Jun Wah Yap opened to 150,000 only to have Xiaobo Zhou three-bet to 270,000 from the big blind. Yap deliberated all his options before moving all in for 1,016,000 and Zhou made the call.

Yap: [Ad][Qc]
The [3h][2c][As] flop saw Zhou take the lead, but when the [7c] landed on the turn, Yap would need any queen, seven or three to remain in the tournament. Unfortunately for the Malaysian, the river landed the [9d] to end his run in 3rd place for a HK$329,800 payday as Zhou soars to 5,220,000 in chips.
9:10 p.m: Play resumes
The four remaining players are back in their seats after an enjoyable dinner break and the cards are in the air!
